SANDMAN- A dark twisted Journey. A review by Emma Gullon

I went into SANDMAN not really knowing what to expect. I cam out feeling shocked and amazed by the vision created from just one person.

Adie Mueller’s contemporary piece kept me completely transfixed for the whole hour and ten minutes. It was humorous, crude and often quite scary.

The set was very minimal yet managed to add more to the story through its simplicity. Mueller played all the characters in the story but although it was only her, it never really felt that way. HerΒ  fast paced transitions between each character were flawless because her energy was always on point. I believed in everything that was playing out before my eyes.

SANDMAN is a very physical, emotional and compelling piece of theatre that has to be seen to be believed
