Crime and Punishment- performing @CAST Doncaster 24th-25th February . Written by Emma Gullon

JKL make their return to CAST’s second space for their interpretation of Crime and Punishment- a daring, gritty and shockingly graphic story directed by Kevin Spence.

This is the classic Victorian thriller about a destitute student who asks himself whether he has the right to murder, and does so in horrific fashion. This leads to an epic game of cat-and-mouse with the authorities, amidst a poverty ridden world full of prostitutes, pawnbrokers and the community doing what it takes to survive.

Crime and Punishment will excite and shock you with its visionary and compelling story line and will leave you wondering whether anyone is is capable of doing the unthinkable.
